In the last few months Christ has taught me the importance of prayer, and in prayer He reminds me about having patience in His plan for me. Both things are valuable topics to write about, because without them life could not be successful. Prayer is our power source to God that gives us direction, and energy to move forward with His plan for us. Patience is a way for us to submit ourselves to His will, and it keeps our priorities a lined with His plan. Living His plan is how believers can be successful, and that is how come prayer and patience are valuable topics to be taught by Christ.
Christ not only said His prayers, but He lived His prayer life. That is why Christ is the greatest example to follow on how to pray, and it is not just memorizing the Lord's prayer. Living a life of prayer like Christ takes discipling, dedication, and desire to follow Christ's plan with your entire heart. All of that is expressed with wanting to pray daily, and it is not to do that to get what we want. We should pray daily to know what the Father wants of us, and that takes patience.
To me patience is keeping your thoughts, and body still. That is where you cut things from what you desire, and you listen to the silence. In that you are waiting to hear what God wants to tell you. That to me is a part of patience.
